Michelle Obama recently enjoyed a girls’ night out with daughters Malia Obama and Sasha Obama at Funke in Beverly Hills, California.
The trio arrived Monday evening accompanied by Secret Service agents and appeared relaxed and cheerful during what looked like a belated Mother’s Day dinner celebration. Michelle kept her look casual and polished, wearing a fitted Henley top, jeans, a brown belt, and a jacket reminiscent of the outfit she wore during her Annie Leibovitz photoshoot last year.
Malia, 27, wore a floral knee-length cami dress paired with black boots and silver jewelry, while Sasha, 24, chose a coordinated denim outfit with navy pointed flats. The sisters, who spent much of their youth in the White House spotlight, appeared comfortable enjoying a rare public family outing.

Michelle recently reflected on life after parenting full-time during an episode of her podcast, “IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson.” She described how she and Barack Obama are adjusting to becoming empty nesters now that both daughters have graduated from college.
She explained that their household has entered “a new phase,” where many of the daily parenting pressures no longer dominate their relationship. Michelle noted that raising children was the first major shared project she and Barack navigated together after marrying in 1992.

The Obama daughters were only 10 and 7 years old when Barack Obama became president in 2008, growing up under intense public attention throughout his two terms in office.
